Hello and welcome  to our site!  I am Erin Hessel, CEO & Founder of ESEMA Healing Arts (East Side Eastern Medicine Associates). We offer acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy and doula services to New Yorkers in Midtown, Manhattan. With over 10 years of clinical experience in the field of Chinese Medicine around the globe, it is with great pride that I welcome you to ESEMA Healing Arts as we officially open our doors as a Berkley Center Affiliate in March 2010.

As our name implies, we are located on the East Side of Manhattan, and our practitioners have extensive training in various Eastern Medicine modalities, including Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture, 5 Element and Korean 4 Point Technique. We are conveniently located in Midtown, accessable to many areas of New York City.  

Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine can be used to treat many conditions, and our particular specialties are Women’s Health and Pediatrics. We also encourage seasonal acupuncture 4-times per year to maintain vibrant health and in the area of preventative medicine. For individuals outside of New York City, we offer individualized herbal consultations around the United States, Canada and Europe.
